Welcome to gemretreats.gr. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using our website or services. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms.
1. Role in Bookings
gemretreats.gr acts as an intermediary between clients and property owners or third-party service providers (e.g., wellness facilitators, chefs, transportation). A booking is confirmed only upon successful payment.
2. Scope of Terms
These terms govern the agreement between gemretreats.gr, the relevant owners/service providers, and the client.
3. Retreat Descriptions
We strive to ensure all retreat descriptions, images, and details are accurate. However, minor differences or changes may occur and do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
4. Check-in / Check-out
Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Use of Property

Only registered guests may stay at the property, respecting the maximum allowed occupancy.

Commercial use (e.g., workshops, photoshoots, events) is prohibited without prior written consent.

Subletting is strictly forbidden.
6. Children
Some properties may not be suitable for young children. Parental supervision is required at all times.
7. Behavior
Inappropriate behavior, property damage, or violation of house rules may result in immediate termination of stay without refund.
8. Access
Property owners or gemretreats.gr representatives may access the property during your stay for maintenance, cleaning, or inspection, with prior notice.
9. Pets
Pets are only allowed upon prior request and written approval. A pet agreement form may be required.
10. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions, or strikes.
11. Insurance
Guests are strongly advised to hold personal travel insurance, including health, accident, and liability coverage. gemretreats.gr does not provide any insurance coverage.
12. Accidents & Damages

gemretreats.gr is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on-site.

Guests are fully responsible for any property damage or loss during their stay.
13. Reporting Issues
Guests must report any issues, damages, or malfunctions immediately in writing. We aim to resolve problems within 24 hours whenever possible.
14. Resource Use
Guests are requested to use water and electricity responsibly, particularly in remote or eco-sensitive locations.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Greek law. Any legal disputes shall be settled by the competent courts of [Athens / Rethymno / your local jurisdiction].
